Dear Church Family,
Over the weekend, we as a church board have decided to close the church for the next few weeks due to the unfortunate COVID-19 virus. This has been a hard time for the whole world, and we as a church need to put our members, visitors and the community’s wellbeing first and help to contain and stop the spread of this virus.
Today, The Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Australia have also released a statement, recommending all churches in Australia to suspend their services until the end of April 2020.
Just because we can not come into church, doesn’t mean church still can not go on. Fortunately, we at Dandy Polish have the ability to live-stream our sermons! For the next few weeks, we will be live-streaming the pastor for that week’s sermon.*
Although these times may seem tough and challenging, but it is in these times that truly test our faith in God and in each other. There may be people in our church, our neighbours, our community, that may be struggling more than others. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or help them - With extra caution, it might be getting some shopping for them, delivering something, going to the pharmacy for them or something as little as calling them to see how they are and if they are ok. Also, please reach out if you yourself are struggling or need some help from others.
Most importantly, one of the biggest things we can also do is to continue to pray. Pray for this pandemic, pray for each other, and pray that Jesus will meet with us very soon.
*Information about live streaming time will follow.
