Dandenong Polish-Australian Seventh-day Adventist Church

Sydney Adventist Youth Conference 2008 passed with an explosion of God's blessings upon his dedicated children! Pastors from all across the globe were invited to share His word before 550 young people! Pastor John Lomacang, David Asscherick, and Luois Torres were just some of the inspirational speakers. Young people travelled from afar to congregate with the family Adventist movement to learn to preach, reach, and teach that "IT'S TIME"... Jesus is coming soon! Devotional prayers, worship, song and praise, and workshops created a reverent spiritual atmosphere where young people grew in the LORD. Whether it be appeals or testimonies, door knocking or fellowship, the joy and blessings gained from the conference were tremendous! $134, 000 was raised in one single sacrificial offering! Praise God!

Following the AYC 2008 will be an evangelistic series held in Sydney by Pastor David Asscherick (Much like Finley's campaign in Melbourne). The money raised at the conference will be used to help support Lay Bible workers and their work leading to the series.

Stefanie and Tim would like to sincerely thank the church for helping us and supporting us financially and spiritually. We were much appreciative and we couldn't have attended without this support!

We encourage the young people in our church to plan ahead and attend the 2009 conference next year!
