Zakończenie XVII Kongresu Polonii Adwentystycznej w Australii
Sobota wieczór – szkoda, że się wszystko kończy. Tradycyjnie każdy Kongres kończy się koncertem.
Tym razem był to koncert bez nazwy... ale służył uwielbieniu Boga i pomocy bliźniemu w Polsce, który potrzebuje wsparcia w problemie ze zdrowiem – zebrano kolektę ponad 4 tys. dolarów dla młodego człowieka poddanego operacji raka mózgu.
Wystąpiła cała plejeada talentów, gwiazd – młodych i starszych – było to wspaniałe przeżycie muzyczne.
Jak to miło kiedy młode dziewczę śpiewa o matce; młode talenty z Quensland wnoszą iskierkę życia, a po nich ich mamy demonstrują piękne głosy w pieśniach uwielbienia.
Zespół „four + one” z Adelajdy jak zwykle prezentował dobre głosy, wspaniałą harmonię i budującą treść.
Cudowną grę na skrzypcach wirtuozki z Adelajdy poprzedziły przemyślenia o życiu:
„Utwór, z którym pragnę się podzielić obejmuje wędrówkę ludzkiego życia. Spróbujcie przymknąć oczy na moment, by odczuć ciepłe słońce i powiew wiatru, który porusza łódź waszego życia; życia, którego niektóre dni są dobre ale są i takie, gdy na horyzoncie pojawiają się ciemne chmury...Czy mamy się bać i drżeć o swoją przyszłość?
Uchwyć się całymi siłami Sternika. Jedynie z Nim Twoja łódź dopłynie szczęśliwie i bezpiecznie do portu.
A jeśli nić życia zostanie przerwana – wierz, że Kapitan będzie czekał na ciebie nad Morzem Szklanym.”
A potem – rozważania:
Ja – On, stworzenie – Stworzyciel, mały człowiek – wielki Bóg, teraźniejszość – wieczność, ograniczoność – wszechwiedza, śmiertelność – nieskończoność, ziemski padół bólu i łez – cudowne rozgwieżdżone niebo, czy pamiętasz o tym, że ten wielki Bóg, ten Stworzyciel – to wieczność? To pełnia doskonałości, to wszechwiedza!
Ta wszechwiedza, ta nieskończoność, ta niezrozumiała MIŁOŚĆ dwa tysiące lat temu się narodziła, potem umarła na krzyżu – ZA CIEBIE I MNIE!
Koncert rozpoczęła i zakończyła Nadia Widuch utworem na skrzypcach.
Szkoda, że zakończył się Kongres – pozostał jeszcze pknik, po którym rozjedziemy się do domów – do zobaczenia (jak Bóg da!) za 2 lata.

The Closing of the XVII Congress of Polish Seventh Day Adventists in Australia
Sabbath evening – it is a pity that all things must come to an end. In line with tradition, each Congress is concluded with a musical Concert.
This time it was a Concert with no title…..but its purpose was to praise our God and to raise funds for a needy brother in Poland who is struggling with life threatening health problems. Over four thousand dollars was collected on the night to assist him in his ongoing treatment program as he recovers from surgery to remove a brain cancer.
There was a plethora of talented performers, stars - both young and old; it was a wonderful musical experience!
How touching it was to hear a young girl singing about a mother; the young talents from Queensland offered up their spark for life in song, to be followed by a performance given by their mothers in full and beautiful voice praising the Lord!
As usual the vocal group ‘Four + One’ (which hails from Adelaide), presented uplifting themes in harmonious tones.
Our female virtuoso violinists from Adelaide preceded reflections on life delivered in prose;
‘’The item which I would like to share with you today encompasses life’s journey. Close your eyes for a moment to feel the warm rays of the sun and the breath of wind , which propels the vessel of your life; a life where some days are good but others are like when dark storm clouds gather on the horizon …..Should we be fearful and worried about our future?
With all your might firmly grab a hold of the Helmsman – for only with Him will your ship make it safely to port!
And if the thread of life should break – have faith that your Captain will be waiting for you on the other side…at the ‘Sea of Glass’.
And then some prudent considerations;
I – He, the creature – the Creator, puny man – Mighty God, temporal – Eternal, limited in knowledge - All Knowing, mortal – Immortal, the earthly struggle of sorrow and pain – a myriad stars in the heavens. Are you aware that this Mighty God, this Creator is Eternal? He is the Fullness of Perfection! He is Omniscient! He is Omnipotent! He is Eternal!
His unfathomable LOVE came to this world some two thousand years ago where He gave up His life on the cross – FOR YOU AND ME!
The evening commenced with and was concluded by a violin solo performed by Nadia Widuch.
It is a pity that it all had to end. The official closing concluded – only the picnic to look forward to before we all make our way home….
God willing we will see you all in Melbourne again in two years time!
