Dzień drugi XVII Kongresu Polonii Adwentystycznej w Australii
Sobota... słoneczny ranek... nadal radosny nastrój i wdzięczność, że Bóg dał możliwość spotkania bliskich i znajomych, współwyznawców i Rodaków z całej Australii oraz gości z innych krajów.
Kościół wystrojony przez Ewę Hanas bukietami biało-czerwonych kwiatów dopełnia nastroju spotkania polskich adwentystów w Australii.
Chwile Szkoły Sobotniej i całego nabożeństwa sobotniego przeplatane były pięknymi utworami i pieśniami – duch wzbijał się w Niebiosa.
Po południu było kilka bloków. Zapoznaliśmy się z misją polskiego kościoła adwentystycznego Dandenong na Wyspach Salomona.
Później ogłoszono skład Zarządu Polonii Adwentystycznej w Australii – przew. pr Jan Jankiewicz, zastępca – pr Jan Pollok, sekretarz – Ewa Podsiadły, skarbnik – Zdzisław Bolek, red. Wiadomości Polonii Adwentystycznej – pr Eugeniusz J. Majchrowski, zastępca – pr Jan Pollok.
W późniejszych godzinach pr Bruce Price przedstawił prezentację pt.: „ORION”.
Wędrowaliśmy z nim po niebie, a szczególnie w gwiazdozbiorze ORIONA.
Pr Price przedstawił „drogę do Nieba” przez ten gwiazdozbiór pełen kolorów i plejad gwiazd.
To jest „autostrada zbawionych” do Nieba... ORION to jedyny gwiazdozbiór, który jest widziany z każdego miejsca na naszym globie!

Day 2 – of the XVII Polish Adventist Congress
The Sabbath….a sunny morning….a continuing happy atmosphere filled with appreciation of the fact that God gave us this opportunity to meet with those close to us, fellow believers and countrymen from across Australia. We were also privileged to host some foreign guests from other countries.
The auditorium decorated by Sister Ewa Hanas with huge bouquets of red and white flowers, complemented the mood of this event as Polish Adventists met in Australia.
Our spirits were lifted heavenward by the beautiful musical items and singing – which were interwoven throughout the Sabbath School program and the main service.
The afternoon program consisted of several presentations;
Firstly we were made aware of a fly and build project to rebuild the Medical Clinic at Kwailabesi on North East Malaita. This project was adopted by the Polish Dandenong Seventh Day Adventist Church who carried out these works in conjunction with three Adventist churches from the North New South Wales Conference. Local volunteers from the Adventist Church in Malaita and surrounding villages also assisted in the building works.
Secondly, we were informed of the make up of the next Executive Committee of Polish Seventh Day Adventists in Australia; Pastor Jan Jankiewicz (Chairman), Pastor Jan Pollok (Vice Chairman), Sister Ewa Podsiadly (Secretary), Brother Zdzislaw Bolek (Treasurer), Pastor Eugeniusz J. Majchrowski (Editor in Chief of the Polish Adventist News), and Pastor Jan Pollok (Editor of the Polish Adventist News).
Later in the afternoon Pastor Bruce Price delivered a presentation entitled ‘Orion’. We embarked on a cosmic journey with him across the heavens which had its focus in the constellation of Orion. Pastor Price, through his vivid visual presentation showed us ‘the way to heaven’ through that colourful and majestic constellation.
This is the ‘Freeway of the Saved’….Orion is the only constellation visible from every point on Earth!
