Kanaan czy Egipt...?
Oto temat kazania pastora Krysty w sobotę 8 listopada 2008 r.
Tak jak prawie w każdą sobotę kazanie było poprzedzone wieloma drobniejszymi sprawami: odbyła się „wstawiennicza” modlitwa za wszystkich chorych; St. Zboru Henryk Wawruszak przekazał pozdrowienia od mającego być w Dandenongu w przyszłym roku pastora Mariusza Wieczorka – mieszkającego obecnie w Szwecji; pr Jan Krysta opowiedział dzieciom historię o Mojżeszu; a przed kazaniem wysłuchaliśmy pięknego utworu muzycznego w wykonaniu: Eli Stęplewskiej (altówka), Adriana (wiolonczela) i Małgosia Patryarcha (pianino) – wszystkie z domu br. Krystów.
Kazaniem służył pr Jan Krysta, tłumaczył na jęz. angielski Przemek Wrzos.
Pan Bóg ma jakiś cel dla każdego, który znajduje się w tym kościele.
Bóg przemówił z gorejącego krzaka – Mojżeszu, idź do mojego ludu...
Przyszedł czas – chcę wyprowadzić mój lud... i ty wyprowadzisz go.
Panie, ja... nie umiem przecież przemawiać...
Nie martw się... ty masz iść!
Dobrze... pójdę... i stał się cud – naród izraelski wyszedł z Egiptu.
Czy wyobrażasz sobie ten wielki lud idący pustynią w kierunku Morza Czerwonego.
Raptem... z tyłu zgiełk, szum, połyskujące zbroje wojska egipskiego – pogoń.
W szeregach Izraela panika i strach... Mojżesz się odzywa:
„...Nie bójcie się, wytrwajcie, a zobaczycie pomoc Pana, której udzieli wam dzisiaj!...” 2 Mojż. 14,13
Łatwo dziś nam się czyta tę historię, ale Izrael musiał to przeżyć!
Nie było żadnego ratunku – oprócz interwencji Boga.
Nie było łatwo!
Pod ochroną Boga przeszli na drugi brzeg i ... Mojżesz zaśpiewał przepiękną pieśń zwycięstwa.
Ap. Jan w Objawieniu wspomniał tę pieśń: „ I widziałem jakby morze szkliste zmieszane z ogniem i tych, którzy odnieśli zwycięstwo... I śpiewali pieśń Mojżesza, sługi Bożego...” Apok. 15,2 – 3.
Bóg mówi: idź naprzód – nie bój się! Zwątpienia, lęk, wahanie zawsze będą ci w życiu towarzyszyły, ale Ja jestem z tobą!
Izraelici kierując się do Kanaanu, ponosili trudy, dotykała ich śmierć – zaczęli myśleć o powrocie do Egiptu.
Zrozumieli, że wolność jest kosztowna! Obawiali się za nią zapłacić!
Mówili o wolności – myśleli o niewoli...
Czy chcesz wrócić do Egiptu?
Egipt czy Kanaan, Kanaan czy Egipt – oto dylematy ludzkości, dylematy chrześcijan.
Zmień myślenie: „... przemień się poprzez odnowę myślenia, aby rozeznać, jaka jest wola Boża, co szlachetne, co miłe, co doskonałe” Rzym 12, 2
Czy wiesz jak to zrobić?
„My wszyscy odzwierciedlamy w naszej odkrytej twarzy chwałę Pana i jesteśmy przemieniani na ten sam obraz, zyskując coraz większą chwałę, za sprawą Pana, który jest Duchem” 2 Kor. 3, 18.

Canaan or
This was the theme of the sermon preached by Pastor Krysta on Sabbath the eight of November 2008.
As is usual on almost every Sabbath, the service was preceded by various items relating to church life. An intercessory prayer was offered on behalf of all our members currently suffering illness. Our Senior Elder communicated greetings from our incoming minister Pastor Mariusz Wieczorek (currently residing in
Pastor Jan Krysta presented the ‘Children’s Story’ about baby Moses. An instrumental piece performed by the three ‘Krysta’ sisters; Ela Steplewski (alto violin), Adriana Krysta (cello) and Malgosia Patryarcha (piano) drew us into an atmosphere of worship.

The Lord God has a mission for each member of this church. He spoke to Moses from the burning bush; ‘Moses, go to my people…the time has come….I wish to free my people …and you will lead them out!’

Suddenly there is panic in the rear ranks, a rumble of hooves, the flash of armour, Egyptian soldiers in pursuit!
In the midst of the upheaval and panic among the Israelites, Moses is heard saying; ‘Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today…’ Exodus 14:13.
It is easy for us to read this story today but the Israelites had to experience this!
There was no escape – except for the intervention of God.
It was not easy!
Under God’s protection they miraculously crossed over to the other shore where Moses sang a joyful song of victory to the Lord.
The Apostle John in his vision mentions the Song of Moses as he writes; ‘And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious…and sang the song of Moses the servant of God…’ Revelation 15: 2-3.
God says; Go forward – do not be afraid! Doubt, fear and wavering will always accompany you in life, but I am with you!
