So far each year we have had excellent snow conditions which have contributed to an enjoyable time had by all. During the six day stay from the 27th of July the group skied at Perisher Blue Ski Resort with some of the participants also skiing Thredbo.
This year we had one family from Gosford who had never seen snow before but were enjoying skiing after three days tuition. It was a treat to see snow at the Adventist Alpine Village on our first night there. We are happy to report no injuries! The Adventist Alpine Village was a comfortable base where we were fed sumptuous meals and spent the evenings socialising with other residents.
This trip is organised for Adventist families and their friends to enjoy some fellowship in the beautiful snowy mountains burning off those calories which we fall prey to during the year. Hope to see you there next year!

Najwyższym szczytem tego pasma górskiego i Australii jest Góra Kościuszki – 2228 m n.p.m.
W roku 1839 polski podróżnik Paweł Edmund Strzelecki przybył do Australii i 15 lutego 1840 r. dotarł na wierzchołek, jak sądził najwyższej góry Australii, chrzcząc ją nazwiskiem rodaka, ze względu na podobieństwo do kopca Kościuszki w Krakowie.
W miejscowości Jindabyne, stoi pomnik Pawła Edmunda Strzeleckiego...
Andrzej Wawrzyniak od lat organizuje w okresie zimy wycieczki dla entuzjastów sportu narciarskiego i także w tym roku z końcem lipca spora grupa wybrała się na śnieg w Góry Kościuszki – korzystając z adwentystycznego ośrodka rekreacyjnego Adventist Alpine Village.
Australia potrafi być gorąca, ale zimna też...
