Oto bardzo wymowne i potężne, inspirujące myśli na początek tygodnia. Zaczerpnięte są one z Izajasza 7:4.
„Miej się na baczności i bądź spokojny, nie bój się, a twoje serce niech się nie lęka...”
To właśnie Bóg powiedział przywódcom narodu izraelskiego, gdy pewna armia nacierała na Jeruzalem. Myśl ta jest stosowna również w naszym życiu dzisiaj, z dwóch powodów:
1. Nasze życie jest świątynią Ducha Świętego i Bóg ustanowił Swe panowanie wewnątrz nas, więc można powiedzieć, że jesteśmy nowym rodzajem Jeruzalemu – nasze życie jest królestwem pokoju, ponieważ Boża obecność i łaska jest w nas.
2. Bóg jest z nami tak jak był z tamtymi liderami miasta, które miało być zaatakowane. Teraz, gdy Bóg jest z tobą i mówi: „Miej się na baczności i bądź spokojny, nie bój się, a twoje serce niech się nie lęka...” – czy irytowanie się, zatroskanie, zamartwianie się, bojaźń i beznadziejność ma jakiś sens... teraz, gdy Bóg jest z tobą?
NIE!
Wydaje się, że cały „trick” polega na tym, aby być pewnym, że Bóg jest z nami, czyż nie tak?
Jeśli wszystko inne nie powiedzie ci się w życiu, ale to jedno jest w porządku, to masz prawo być spokojny, odważny i pełen nadziei, ponieważ sam Bóg jest z tobą.
Nie wiem, przez co dzisiaj przechodzisz, ale bądź z Bogiem a wtedy absolutnie, pozytywnie i pewnie odniesiesz tryumf.

Don't Ever, Ever Ever Give Up

Here's a very meaningful and powerful inspirational thought as we start the weekend. It's from Isaiah 7:4 --
"Be careful, keep calm and don't be afraid. Do not lose heart..."
This is what God told his leaders when a certain army was marching against Jerusalem. But it's applicable to our lives today, too, because of two reasons:
1. Our life is the temple of the Holy Spirit and God has established his reign within us, so you might say that we are a new kind of Jerusalem -- our life is a kingdom of peace because God's presence and grace are within us.
2. God is with us just as he was with those leaders whose city was about to be attacked. Now, when God is with you and he says, ""Be careful, keep calm and don't be afraid. Do not lose heart..." does it make any sense at all, then, to be upset, anxious, worried, fearful and hopeless... when God is with you?
NO!
Seems the "trick" is making sure that He is with us, right?
If everything else is wrong in your life but you get this one part right, then you have every single right to be calm, courageous and hopeful because God Himself is with you.
I'm not sure what you're going through today, but go with God and you will absolutely, positively, undoubtedly prevail.
